Independence, also known as Signature Lakes, includes detached homes, estate homes and four townhome communities across its development phases. We identify the actual section before comparing the house, outdoor space and upkeep coverage. Separate ownership documents can make two nearby homes different purchases.

Town Square and Lake Trail residents clubs each offer a pool and fitness center, with tennis and basketball at Lake Trail among the shared recreation. We help you compare each home's position and establish access to the club and lake facilities attached to its ownership section. A lake-oriented community does not mean every lot has private frontage or identical launch rights.

Independence has Winter Garden mailing addresses within Horizon West's Bridgewater village. Nearby Hamlin provides shopping, dining and entertainment, while the wider area includes public facilities such as the Horizon West library and regional park. Those facilities are separate from Independence's private association amenities.

Consider which club, trail route and everyday destinations you expect to use when comparing streets. A short route on a map is not always the most convenient route in practice. Independence has a master association and separate Townhomes I–IV associations. Establish which documents and assessments apply to a particular home before comparing dues with a detached property or a townhome in another section. The association's public guidance makes clear that maintenance responsibilities need to be checked; a townhome should not automatically be described as maintenance-free.
